Hello, my name is Oliver, and I am the 2023 Operations Graduate at Demant. I am born and raised in North-West part of Jutland but moved to Copenhagen in 2018 to begin my BSc in EBA European Business. During my master’s degree I went on exchange in Bergen at Norwegian School of Economics.
I knew I wanted a career that mattered which was why I found the Hearing Healthcare Industry very interesting and exciting. Demant being a pioneer in the Hearing Healthcare space, I decided to apply for Demant’s Graduate Programme since they also offered was, I was looking for while ensuring local and global opportunities and a strong focus on career development. Eventually, after a thorough recruitment process I landed the position, and it has exceeded all my expectations. My first rotation has been in Direct Strategic Procurement where I have been a part of the Project Management team who works on future product launches with many cross-departmental internal and external stakeholders, as well as cost-tracking projects, cost-optimization initiatives and sustainability assessments.
Often you’ll find me either in running clothes, being with friends, reading or enjoying a Danish craft beer after work.
