Claire Ducatte

Hi! My name is Claire, and I recently moved from my hometown of Denver, Colorado to Copenhagen. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2019 and went to grad school at the University of Colorado Boulder where I obtained my doctorate of audiology (Au.D.) degree.

I completed many clinical rotations during my time in graduate school and am passionate about helping adults with hearing and balance issues. However, I was made aware of the opportunity at Demant and decided to apply because I was curious about the different career paths in audiology aside from a more traditional clinical role. My time here so far has not only been a great learning opportunity, but my daily tasks allow me to apply my audiologic skills in different ways. Each day I am at work, I encounter so many motivated individuals who come from all over the world which inspires me to continually develop an international perspective on hearing health.

 In my free time, I enjoy being active and watching scary movies. I also look forward to exploring Europe with my husband when I am not working.

    From Colorado to Denmark: The first weeks
